Struck By Cupid's Arrow - Love Poems By A Teenager

Three Months

Three months ago we met,
By coincidence perhaps,
Or maybe it was luck.

Here we are now,
Three months to the day,
Close to a breakup.

It has been great,
These weeks sure have been nice,
But the warmth of a relationship,
Has now turned to ice.

No longer is it happy,
No longer is it fun,
No longer beneficial,
Now only done.

 I wish it were different,
I wish it was better,
I wish I could make it right,
That I came here to hold you,
But I come to say goodbye tonight.

For all that I could have done,
For all that I did wrong,
You were mistaken too,
And could have tried harder,

Instead I say to you so long.
