Struck By Cupid's Arrow - Love Poems By A Teenager

Fleeting Moments

Fleeting moments of happiness
filled by hours of loneliness.

So devout in my love
as to blind my senses.

Wishing the past will
at once be the future.

From all my hopes
spring all my fears.

Hearing with my mind
and ignoring my ears.

I have less than I thought
and less than I need.

I have love in my heart
someone in my mind

Someone whose feelings are
not returned in kind

So much pain
so many tears

When I learned again
to hear with my ears.
