Struck By Cupid's Arrow - Love Poems By A Teenager

Words Cannot Express

The English language can do you no justice.
My words can never give you enough honor.
Neither can truly describe your splendid self.

I cannot do anything that shows how much I really care for you.
There is nothing on Earth that great.

I treasure you in my heart,
But my mind is poor at translating.

I feel like a fool trying to express my heart,
I never can find the words that are fitting.

Frustration fills my head,
For I long to tell you how much I love you.

I thought English to be complex,
I now see it is much too simple.

English simplifies the most complex thoughts and feelings in life,
It destroys their uniqueness and depth it cheapens it
