You let me go, You went away. You did know, That I wanted you to stay. You let me go, You didn't care. You had to know, You were my teddy bear. My life is so empty, Without my true love. You should have kept me, When push came to shove. I think of you, Most every night. I wish I knew, How to make things right. I never will forget, You and I. From the first day we met, Till the day I die. Its hard to keep going, Day after day. Take comfort in knowing, That I'll find a way. I will move on, I'll find someone new. But my one chance is gone, For someone like you. You let me go, You found someone new. I just want you to know, That I still love you.
