There you are,
The love of my life.
Sitting on the table
Next to my knife.
I pick you up and take a drink.
Each sip from you,
Each swig of your magic potion,
Washes away my worries,
My sorrow,
My pain.
But even you shall soon be gone,
And my thirst for you will grow greater still.
So I will be left with your neighbor,
With its sharp, shining blade,
And wonder if it can heal my hurt.
Can its pointed touch cure my
ills?
For now I will cast that question aside
And spend my time with you.
HOW TO SEND THIS LOVE POEM AS A GREETING CARD
Sending a card is easy! Just follow the instructions at each
step along the way. I also want to let you know that the cards
are stored in a non-indexed directory so only you and the
recipient will know how to find the card. This directory
is also pretty secure from spammers, so send your card
knowing you will not end up on any junk list.
After you have completed the card, you will be shown a
preview. If you do not like your card, you may edit it
and then send it, or just cancel the request. The recipient will receive e-mail advising where
to find the card.
